Technical Sales Executive Germany - Full Time, Flexible location

Experience and skills:

  1. Several years' relevant work experience and successful track sales-record in a commercial software tools environment is essential;
  2. A full driving licence and a willingness to travel regularly at home and abroad is essential;
  3. A german national, with fluency in spoken and written english is essential;
  4. A software engineering/related graduate, or a non-graduate who has gained in-depth technical knowledge of LDRA and, or related products is desirable;
  5. Experience working in the design or manufacture of the products is desirable, but not essential.
  6. Independence, sound judgement and good business sense, team working ability, analytical and problem-solving skills and resilience and tenacity required for:-
  • account management and business development;
  • maximising customer potential in designated regions;
  • developing and growing long-term relationships with customers;
  • managing and interpreting customer requirements - speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs;
  • persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
  • negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions;
  • producing results both through sales and by breaking into new markets;
  • meeting regular sales targets;
  • supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
  • making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs;
  • liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts, as well as senior company managers.

In addition, experience with any of the following would be considered an asset:

  • Software testing tools (LDRA, Rational TestRT, VectorCast, Parasoft, Mercury Test Director, etc)
  • UML/SysML Modeling Tools (Artisan, Rhapsody, Rational Rose, etc)

  • Configuration Management Tools (ClearCase, MKS, SourceSafe, etc)
  • Project Management Tools
  • Avionics development and DO-178B
  • Real-time Operating Systems (Green Hills Integrity, WindRiver VxWorks, etc)
  • Other programming languages and scripting (Java, C#, Perl, Python, etc)

Sales Executive - Flexible location USA / UK / India

Experience and skills:

  1. A software engineering/related graduate, or a non-graduate who has gained in-depth technical knowledge of LDRA and, or related products;

Experience and skills:

  1. A motivated individual with several years' work experience in telesales/telemarketing;
  2. Experience of working in a commercial software tools environment considered a huge advantage;
  3. Excellent telephone manner, with the ability to build relationships with clients quickly;
  4. Independence, sound judgement and good business sense, team working ability and resilience and tenacity required for:-
  • searching for new clients by following up on leads provided;
  • maximising customer potential in designated regions;
  • developing relationships with customers;
  • interpreting customer requirements - speaking with clients to understand their needs;
  • producing results both through supporting sales activity and by breaking into new markets;
  • meeting regular inside sales targets;
  • supporting marketing activities;
  • liaising with members of the sales team and other technical experts, as well as senior company managers;
  • administration and other office-based duties.
