We are seeking dynamic software engineering professionals to manage various regions in the United States. In this position, you will support the sales, marketing, and technical applications consulting of leading software products targeting the Real Time and Embedded systems marketplace. This is a key customer-facing role with significant influence in generating new business and ensuring the growth of existing accounts. You will report to the individual in charge of field applications engineering for your region. He/She will help to facilitate tasks, and act as a liaison between you and headquarters to ensure strong communication and provide human resource management.
The ideal candidate will be based in a major city within the region (CA, TX, MA preferred) and have existing relationships within the region. Overall knowledge of our customer base, integrators, engineering firms and other technology service organizations is invaluable.
Key Aspects of the Role:
- Opportunity Expert and Evaluation support. The Field Applications Engineer develops a complete understanding all the technical aspects of a sales opportunity; supports trial evaluations for prospective customers; and assists in the successful deployment at the customer.
- Technical Lead for New Opportunities. Develop and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations. Respond to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Information from prospective customers. Present to interested engineers and engineering management at prospective customers. Communicate with customers, prospects, partners, and the Company to aid in the development of new products and features that meet customer needs more effectively.
- Technical Account Manager. Provide consistent, proactive, technical leadership and expertise to ensure the success of the initial implementation and integration at a new customer. Help grow each account to enterprise-wide adoption.
- Training and Applications consulting. Deliver training courses to customers and/or support new and existing customers by providing mentoring or technical applications consulting.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- Hold an education level at BS/EE or equivalent
- At least 2 years of technology experience (in software or development tools) as an FAE, Software Engineer or Consultant
- Hands-on experience in Software Development with C and C++. Experience with Ada83/95, Java or C# would be considered an Asset
The following would also be considered an asset:
- Software testing tools (LDRA, Rational TestRT, VectorCast, Parasoft, Mercury Test Director, etc.)
- UML/SysML Modeling Tools (Artisan, Rhapsody, Rational Rose, etc.)
- Requirements Management Tools (DOORS, Rational ReqPro, Reqtify, etc.)
- Embedded OpenGL programming
- Avionics development and DO-178B
- Strong knowledge in both UNIX and Windows platforms.
- Practical experience with Real-time Operating Systems such as Green Hills Integrity or WindRiver WorkBench and VXworks
- Basic knowledge of Embedded Software Development, Requirements Managements and Project Management

We are seeking a dynamic sales professional to manage direct sales and our distribution channel in various regions throughout Europe. In this position, you will develop and execute a Regional Sales plan to identify major customers, and communicate and promote LDRA products and services through a combination of direct sales and distributors. You will also be responsible for managing all sales activity within your region including pricing, forecasting, analyzing and reporting on sales, and maintaining budget. You will report to the individual in charge of Sales for your region. He/She will help to facilitate sales, and act as a liaison between you and headquarters to ensure strong communication and provide human resource management.
