On Demand - DO-178C "First Flight" Self-Paced Online Training Course $175

Join Steve Morton, Level A FAA DER (Designated Engineering Representative), as he presents a very cost-effective and concise approach to DO-178C compliance. Certification Overview (Segment 1) can be streamed at no cost!

RTCA/DO-178C is the fourth-generation guidance for the approval of airborne software. Recognized by the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in 2013, the updated document and its brand new companion documents are starting to come into common usage in the aerospace industry.

But what does this new standard require? Can it be introduced in a concise yet meaningful way?

LDRA’s DO-178C “First Flight” online training course is designed to give an overview of software certification, including the relationship to system certification and all of the software processes described in DO-178C. The updated software tool qualification guidance is also introduced, as are all three supplements to DO-178C. Explicit identification of differences between DO-178B and the new core document (DO-178C) help the experienced developer navigate the transition, while the highlevel introduction to DO-178C and its supplements and companion documents gives the newcomer a foothold in the world of software approval.
